State Street Garage started in a college garage on State Street, where owner CJ Shoaf bought a run-down '84 Corvette and set out to bring it back to life. What began as a pastime project quickly became a passion — a deep love for not just fixing cars, but understanding them, building them, and helping them perform at their best. Born and raised in Mahomet, CJ and his wife turned that passion into something bigger than themselves, building a shop rooted in the community they call home.
